Before talking about society in the 4.0 and 5.0 eras, let’s give some feedback from the previous era. In the era of generation 1.0 we call it a hunter society, then era 2.0 it is called an agricultural society. The industrial society is used to refer to generation 3.0, and the information society is used to refer to generation 4.0.

Industrial Revolution 4.0. on the one hand increasing the use of data and technology to facilitate human life, but on the other hand, it becomes a threat to most people in the field of work and is helpless in facing the challenges of using data and technology. Therefore, it is necessary to develop human resources with a knowledge transfer approach through education.

Education is one of the basic human needs. They are prepared to become independent figures and able to develop themselves optimally, so that human body and soul continue to prioritize human values.

The development of human resources must be based on the growth of high curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, increasing creativity and having high motivation to develop oneself. However, not only focusing on the transfer of knowledge, but also transferring attitudes by developing good character so that the knowledge gained can be balanced with the character. Thus, education is important for humans to be able to act humanely, sociologically, religiously.

In the 4.0 era, we are faced with the millennial generation born in the 1980-1990s or 2000s with creative personal characteristics, having brilliant ideas and ideas, accustomed to thinking OUT OF THE BOX, confident, good at socializing and daring to express opinions in public through social media.

The millennial generation tends to always want to find out about the times. They seek, learn and work in an innovation environment that relies heavily on technology to effect change in various aspects of their lives. The millennial generation believes more in User Generated Content (UGC) than one-way information, must have social media as a place to socialize, does not like conventional reading, follows technological developments, tends to be disloyal but works effectively.

The millennial generation relies heavily on social media but they don’t yet have a strong filter to be able to filter the information they receive. You can see the tendency of internet users who often don’t care about moral and ethical values in communicating and disseminating information on social media. Even though ethics plays a very important role in avoiding conflict in socializing. Therefore, the millennial generation needs to prepare themselves by improving their character.

The millennial generation also has challenges in facing a new era in their lives, namely the era of society 5.0. Society 5.0 as a complement to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 needs to be directed at the role of the millennial generation for the progress of the nation in the future. Society 5.0 can be interpreted as a technology-based concept of a human-centered society.

The rapid development of technology, including the existence of human roles that are replaced by the presence of intelligent robots. For this reason, an understanding of society 5.0 based on spirituality and culture is needed as a provision for the process of developing the millennial generation who is ready for problems and challenges.

Through Society 5.0, artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence) will transform millions of data collected through the internet in all areas of life (the Internet of Things) into new things, which will be dedicated to increasing human capabilities to open opportunities for humanity.

This transformation will help people to live a more meaningful life, improve the quality of life and can create a society that can enjoy life to the fullest. In this era, technology has developed remarkably and has brought drastic changes to the millennial generation.

Changes began to be felt from socializing, ways of communicating, obtaining information to ways of thinking and acting on the problems faced. Every nation really hopes to present a millennial generation that is of good quality and balance, both in terms of religion, education and skills, civilization (culture, values and technology), welfare and social aspects.

An example of the difference between era 4.0 and era.5.0

In the 4.0 era, if you shop online on the internet, how many days do you have to wait to get an order delivered by a human courier service. With technology 5.0, goods ordered online can arrive quickly and precisely, even though the house is in a mountainous area with the help of AI and lot technology.

The AI system is capable control drones for send order with fast and precise. Arise question what is the fate of the courier man If delivery using drones? Naturally Lots man lost job.  This is challenge source Power human must solved the solution moment this.

In society past information (Society 4.0), people will access cloud services (databases) in cyberspace via the internet and search, retrieve, and analyze information or temporary data it, in Community 5.0, a number big information from the sensors in the room physique accumulated in cyberspace. In cyberspace, big data This analyzed by intelligence artificial or artificial intelligence (AI), and results the analysis fed return to man in room physique in various shape.
